Health Magazine Names Uno Chicago Grill® America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant
ST. LOUIS, MO (BUSINESS WIRE), April 23, 2008 - Health magazine, one of the country's foremost publications on improving health, has honored Uno Chicago Grill with the number-one spot on its new list, "America's Healthiest Chain Restaurants."

After reviewing 43 restaurants with more than 75 locations nationwide, the magazine's team of nutrition experts, dieticians, and food editors, gave the top spot to Uno Chicago Grill. Editors cited the company's lower-calorie flatbread pizzas, a menu with zero grams trans-fat - as well as a gluten free menu for those with Celiac disease - a wide selection of grilled entrees, multi-grain pastas, shade-grown coffees and organic teas, among several other highlights in making their determination.

"We're delighted that our commitment to nutritional transparency has been acknowledged by Health magazine, which is the arbiter of healthy living. Creating a menu with delicious health-conscious options is one of our priorities at Uno Chicago Grill," says Frank W. Guidara, the company's chief executive officer. "We never forget that we are about flavor and choice, and that means constantly examining new dishes that prove that eating healthfully doesn't have to mean sacrificing."

In addition to healthful dining options, the restaurants offer discounts on salads when ordered with entrees because, as the menus state, "We want you to get some greens in your diet." Health called that "a blue-ribbon commitment to health." The magazine's team of top food experts also liked the Nutrition Information Centers in the lobbies of most Uno Chicago Grill restaurants, which detail ingredients, fat and sodium contents, and calories and fiber of every item, in addition to gluten-free options.

Guidara notes, "While we cannot tell our customers what to eat, we can give them all the information they need to make informed choices and enjoy their experience with us."

The company that was the first to develop deep-dish pizza in 1943 is still full of innovation. Uno Chicago Grill works closely with its Nutrition Advisory Board, which meets quarterly to discuss trends and solutions to improve the quality and nutritional value of its menu. The board includes world-class physicians with expertise in coronary disease, weight management, and other food/health related issues. CEO Frank Guidara oversees the Advisory Board and brings his expertise as a member of the Nutrition Roundtable for the Harvard School of Public Health.

In addition to eliminating artificial trans-fats and increasing nutritional transparency, the company has also introduced gluten-free options and, for guest convenience, clearly labels menu items with ingredients that are linked to the most common food allergies, such as fish/shellfish, soy, tree nuts/peanuts, egg, milk and wheat/gluten.

The company has invested more than $2 million in nutritional advancements since 2005 and, according to Mr. Guidara, will continue its commitment to providing delicious, fresh and healthful menu options for its guests.

About Uno Chicago Grill: Based in Boston, Uno Restaurant Holdings Corporation includes more than 200 company-owned and franchised full-service units located in 29 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Honduras and Saudi Arabia. The company also operates a consumer foods division which supplies airlines, movie theaters, hotel restaurants and supermarkets with both frozen and refrigerated private-label foods and branded Uno products.

There are three locations in the Kansas City area. In the Country Club Plaza located at 4710 Jefferson Street, South Overland Park at 8420 W 135th Street, and in the northland at 9050 NE Barry Rd.

Hallmark Introduces First Recordable Cards With Music
ST. LOUIS, MO (kansascityfrontpage.com), April 23, 2008 - Hallmark Cards has introduced Recordable Cards With Music, a new innovation just in time for Mother's Day. The cards are available at Hallmark Gold Crown® stores and other fine retailers nationwide.

First-of-their-kind Recordable Cards With Music allow the sender to record up to 10 seconds of a personal voice message right into the greeting card. The message is immediately followed by a pre-recorded song clip with original music by the original artist. The recorded message and song clip play whenever the card is opened.

"Card senders are always looking for ways to tell loved ones how much they care. New Recordable Cards With Music let senders use their own voices to tell their moms exactly how they feel," said Andre du Broc, editorial director at Hallmark. "There is nothing else like it in the greeting card industry."

Americans send 155 million greeting cards to moms at Mother's Day, the third most popular of card-sending holidays. This year, many of those cards will be sent to mothers serving military deployments overseas. Hallmark is providing new Recordable Cards With Music to children and families at several military bases. These families will be able to send their voices to their deployed moms inside the new cards.

Additionally, Hallmark captured voice messages of support to military moms from several celebrities attending the 2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Those cards, with recorded Mother's Day greetings from Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Billy Joel and others, will be shipped to deployed moms in time for Mother's Day.
